UNS TASK FORCE & CAC-Nepal

In 2002, CAC-Nepal conducted a Study on Stocktaking of Existing Resource and Data on Trafficking for Beyond Trafficking, supported by the UNS Taskforce against Trafficking. The objectives of the study were two-fold - review of all available literature on trafficking of Nepali women and girls and identify gaps in research, data and issues. The study covered various issues of trafficking, namely, concepts and definition, historical process, situation and magnitude of trafficking, determinants, process and effects of trafficking including anti-trafficking initiatives.
